Fernando Canesin finally scored his First goal for Anderlecht. He was as happy as he could be. “Indeed I celebrated it like a scored a goal for the WC.”

"This is an amazing feeling. I hope I continue scoring now,” he said after the game. “This has been the most important moment in my career. This goal is for my father (who died two years ago) and for José Lago.”

"I was very happy after my goal, but afterwards I tried to stay calm and have fun on the field. And I think it worked. If I’m going to celebrate my goal? No, I’m focusing on the game this Sunday against Lokeren.”

"I want to thank the trainer for having Faith in me, even when it didn’t go well. He talked a lot to me, and assured me I would score.”
