Anderlecht wasted another two points this afternoon in the clash against Brugge. Jovanovic and Kljestan missed two penalties, while the home side was a lot more secure from the penalty spot. Jovanovic equalized in the last second.

The Brugians started furiously with an effort after just one minute. Anderlecht got a penalty when Jovanovic was brought down in the box. The Serbian's weak effort was stopped by the goalkeeper.

From the on, both sides had a few chances, but Anderlecht created the most danger. Slowly, the frustration in some players started building, leading to yellow for Wasilewski and Vleminckx.

The second half brought more of the same, though Club Brugge became more dangerous now. Canesin had the best chance but he was brought down by goalie Coosemans: red and another penalty. Kljestan took his responsability, but also his effort was too weak to beat second keeper D'Hoest.

Anderlecht reacted and brought De Sutter, Deschacht and Iakovenko into play with five minutes remaining. In the very last second of the match, Jovanovic struck the ball in one time and it went high into the goal: 1-1.
