Like almost every year, Anderlecht got eliminated in the early round of the Belgian Cup. The Mauves played with their reserves against Westerlo. The home side took advantage and won thanks to a goal of Henrique: 1-0.

Anderlecht started with seven reserves. The striker duo was Badibanga-Kabananga. They had two chances in the first half, but failed to score. Westerlo was dangerous via Henrique.

After the break, Henrique opened the score from an offside position. De Sutter and Lukaku came into play and that last one missed the best chance before an open goal. On the other side, Westerlo missed a penalty. The score remained unchanged.
