Shikabala doesn't want to join Anderlecht anymore

Shikabala informed Anderlecht he doesn't want to come to Brussels. He prefers to continue his career in Egypt. This means that the decision of the FIFA doesn't really matter anymore. The transfer soap has been decided.


Shikabala was under enormous pressure to stay in Zamalek. The club also offered him a serious pay raise. It was likely the FIFA would rule in favour of Anderlecht, so the player could join the Mauves.
