Anderlecht and Wolverhampton cannot agree over a transfer of Jelle Van Damme for now. There are two problems now: first of all, the transfer fee is too low and secondly, Anderlecht want rock solid guarentees about the payment.

The Mauves already had bad experiences with Santander (transfer of Tchité) and Espanyol (transfer of Pareja). Both clubs did not pay the required amount until now. So Anderlecht want to be sure that Wolverhampton will be able to pay.

The English are willing to pay three million, but Anderlecht will have to give a part of that amount to Van Damme and his ex-club Southampton. The Belgian champions were hoping to earn 3 million on the deal themselves.
