Players react on the 30th title

Anderlecht realised what just a handful of clubs ever did in Europe: winning 30 national titles. Of course, yesterday was a fantastic day in the history of the club. Here are some reactions:


Boussoufa: "We deserve to win the title. We were just the best team this season. It's even better if you know that before the start of the play-off, our points were divided in two, and yet we build up a new lead. I must say I got bored of the play-offs. Hopefully they cancel them soon."

Lukaku: "I experienced a lot this season. But winning the title is just the best. I have dreamt of this, but it's even better in reality. Whether I'll celebrate? A little, but I have school tomorrow."

Deschacht: "Taking the title in Bruges was just great. This is the fourth title that I win, but it's the best."

Proto: "I couldn't enjoy the previous title a lot, but now it's pay-back time. I really enjoy this. It were a lot of hard games, but we got through it. The group is great. We are all friends."

De Sutter: "Despite my injury I really love this feeling. Seeing my team mates jump of happiness does me well. It doesn't hurt that I can't jump with them."

Biglia: "I don't want to say I contributed more than others to this title. But my season was very good. I would like to contribute this title to my friend Nicolas Frutos. And of course to my wife, my daughter and my father."
