Quarter finals of the Cup in one game

The Belgian Football Organisation has made an unbelievable decision. Anderlecht will have to play their quarter final of the Cup against Zulte Waregem or Cercle Brugge in one game in stead of two.


The 1/8 final between Zulte and Cercle had been postponed for three times already. Therefore, that game will be played together with the first leg of the quarter finals. During the second leg of those quarter finals, Anderlecht will meet Cercle or Zulte in a direct confrontation (in Anderlecht).

Zulte Waregem and Cercle were considering legal steps against the Football Organisation, but eventually agreed with the decided plan.
