Doctor Kinnen: "Iakovenko will be back soon"

Oleksandr Iakovenko has been staying in the hospital since the team returned from Portugal. “Iakovenko has an infection at the mucous membrane in his mouth,” doctor Louis Kinnen explains in Sudpresse.

"Within two or three days we’ll now more after all the examinations. As the pain didn’t allow him to eat or drink normally, we found it necessary to bring him to the hospital.” Meanwhile, it’s going much better with him. “For now he still has to stay in bed. We evaluate him day by day. He’s young, he’ll be back soon,” says Kinnen.
