Draw against St-Petersburg

Anderlecht obtained a 2-2 draw against Zenit St-Petersburg. The friendly game was played in Kundl in Austria. Zenit and Anderlecht both had the best chances in the beginning.


Van Damme and Legear were most active and Reynaldo also played very well. The game was in balance, but five minutes before the break, Zenit scored via Zyrianov.

After the break, we saw the same kind of play. Anderlecht proved to be better, but again Zenit scored, this time via Semshov.

Anderlecht still had 20 minutes left and Kanu headed the 1-2 against the net on a center of Chatelle. In the last minute Anderlecht got a free kick. Wasilewski headed the ball in Van Damme's feet and he equalised.

Result: 2-2
