Ruiz doesn’t say no to Anderlecht

AA-Gent- player Bryan Ruiz is on Anderlecht’s list for next season. President Ivan De Witte doesn’t seem interested to let him go. But Ruiz himself seems in to it.


"I won’t say no to Anderlecht immediately,” says Ruiz. “It’s a nice club and I know they say my style fits with Anderlecht. Will Anderlecht make an extra effort if they play Champions League? That’s nice. I’d love to play Champions League, but that’s not a priority to me.”

"Even if the club ends second, I won’t say no immediately. Although I hope Anderlecht wins the title if I have to choose between them and Standard.”

However Ruiz denies any contact with Anderlecht. “We haven’t talked yet, but I’m not impatient. Everything is possible and I’m focussing on Ghent now.”
