National coach Aimé Antheunis has announced the 20 names that will play a match against the Netherlands on 29 May. One big surprise in the selection: Geert De Vlieger won't be goalkeeper.

Also Frederic Herpoel doesn't belong to the selection. Peersman and Lemmens are the two goalkeepers of the squad. "I still trust De Vlieger and Herpoel. But I'm choosing with an eye on the qualification match against Lithuania on 4 September", says Antheunis. "I want to have the best keeper under the post in that match. On individual level, as well as on team level."

Goalkeepers: Lemmens (Espanyol), Peersman (Anderlecht)

Defenders: Kompany, Deschacht en Vanden Borre (Anderlecht), Simons (Club Bruges), Deflandre (Lyon), Dheedene (Austria Vienna), Van Damme (Ajax)

Midfielders: Baseggio (Anderlecht), Clement (Club Bruges), Bisconti (Standard), Dufer (Charleroi), Goor (Hertha Berlin), Vermant (Schalke 04), M.Mpenza (Mouscron), Soetaers (Ajax)

Attackers: Pieroni (Mouscron), Buffel (Feyenoord), Sonck (Ajax)
