Baseggio in world team

Baseggio received an invitation for a match between a selection of European pro's and a world team. The benefit match will be played in Milan on Tuesday, and will be broadcast live on the Italian television.

Other players are Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Seedorf, Shevchenko and Maldini. If not sure yet whether Baseggio will accept this invitation, it depends on national coach Aimé Antheunis. He wants his internationals Tuesday and Wednesday on training, for the preparation of the interland against the Netherlands on 29 May.
