Verschueren's condition is improving

Michel Verschueren's condition is rapidly improving, after being rushed to the hospital yesterday evening. "It's serious, but not dramatic", said a doctor of the hospital around 20h.


Meanwhile, the examinations are still going on. It's possible that Verschueren suffered from blood poisoning. A month ago, he was also struck by the same disease. Because he started working again immediately after being dismissed from the hospital, he never fully recovered.

When Verschueren regained consciousness, his first words were: "I don't want to stay here, else I'll miss Kortrijk-Anderlecht."
