Anderlecht only team in top 5 that could win

RSCA continued to win whilst their main rivals stumbled this weekend. Club Brugge, Standard, Racing Genk and Westerlo all lost their respective games. This means that the Mauves take the lead in the highest division.


Club Brugge and Standard, who played in the UEFA Cup earlier that same week, both lost. Standard was beaten on their home ground by Zulte Waregem (1-2) while Brugge lost in Lokeren (2-0).

Racing Genk was defeated by newcommer Kortrijk (3-1) and Westerlo was defeated by the team with the least points, Roeselare (1-0).
