Vanden Stock: "Expensive season-tickets are necessary"

As we mentioned before, the price of the season-tickets in Anderlecht will increase with 20%. Chairman Vanden Stock explains this measure.


"Most of the season-tickets cost 250 euro here", says the chairman. "For our current season-ticket holders, the price will increase with 10% until June. After June, that's 20%. For that price, you see 17 home matches in the competition, a match in the preliminary round of the Champions League and one cup match."

But why does the price have to increase? "It really is necessary", claims Vanden Stock. "We have to do an effort to keep all our players together. If we want to develop internationally, and we want to stand for something, we need money. Also our seat- and logeholders will have to pay more."
Anderlecht has among 20.000 season-ticket holders.
