Besides Van Damme, Gillet and Goor who played for Belgium's national team, other Anderlecht players also participated international games. Polak, Vlcek and Zitka obtained a 2-2 draw vs. England.


Hungary played against Montenegro. Juhasz played for 60 minutes and saw the game end on 3-3. Boussoufa won with Morocco against Benin: 3-1.
