Anderlecht defends a 1-0 lead tomorrow against Germinal Beerschot. Jacobs will have his boys play for a victory though. "After 90 minutes I'm perhaps willing to sign for a draw, but playing for a draw is pure suicide."

On rsca.be, Jacobs already looks ahead to the cup meeting from tomorrow. He expects a hot evening against Germinal Beerschot. "Playing at the Kiel is never an easy task. GB will undoubtedly put the pressure on us from the start onwards in front of their own public", he sounds convinced.

Since the home team has to make up arrears, there will be space for Anderlecht on the counter. This the Brussels players have to use to beat the Antwerp team. "The difference between Anderlecht and GB is that Anderlecht wants to win and that GB has to win. There will be opportunities, and it's our duty to take the chances we get."
