UEFA fines Bordeaux

The UEFA have fined French club Bordeaux for the way they reacted after Anderlecht had eliminated them in the UEFA-Cup. The club will have to pay a fine of 20.000 euros for "making errors in the organisation".


Johan Micoud is suspended for 2 match days because of aggression towards the Turkish referee Dereli Selçuk. Benoît Tremoulinas will be suspended for 3 European games, because of his dreadful tackle against Anderlecht's Guillaume Gillet.Bordeaux's physiotherapist will also suffer a three day suspension after delibertly tripping the referee.Bordeaux President Jean-Louis Triaud has announced that his club will not appeal the verdict.
