Due to the failing Belgian politics, Anderlecht's new stadium is put on hold. Chairman Roger Vanden Stock is considering a temporarily solution and wants to enlarge the current stadium to 32,000 seats.

Vanden Stock is waiting for the last detailed to be settled before construction works can start. Though with Brugge and Standard planning to build a new stadium, those clubs will soon gain a financial advantage over the Mauves. Vanden Stock wants to compensate the difference in the amount of seats by building more business seats.

Everything could be finished in 3 or 4 years. Meanwhile, the politicians can continue their endless and pointless discussions about a new stadium...
