Boussoufa Praises Deserved Victory

Mbark Boussoufa played a good game against the French side Bordeaux and was a constant nuisance for the visiting defenders. "This is a great relief, because we deserved to win this game," said the Moroccann midfielder.


"We had the better of Bordeaux throughout the match. We passed the ball around well and created chances. The penalty was a major set-back, but it felt twice as good to snatch away the victory like that," said Boussoufa.

"We've demonstrated we've got a team that has character. I'm not thinking about the next round yet," assures Boussoufa. "We still have to travel to Bordeaux."
