Pieroni and Blondel will play against Germany

Striker Luigi Pieroni (Mouscron) and midfielder Jonathan Blondel (Club Bruges) will get their first A-cap for the Red Devils on Wednesday.

National coach Aimé Antheunis announced on Tuesday the eleven players that will challenge Germany during a friendly match in Cologne.

Frédéric Herpoel will be goalkeeper. Eric Deflandre, Timmy Simons, Vincent Kompany and Jelle Van Damme will play in the defence. Mbo Mpenza, Philippe Clement, Walter Baseggio and Blondel are the midfielders, and Thomas Buffel and Pieroni are the two strikers.
