While he was elected best youngster last season, this season the Argentinian was less spared of criticism. The midfielder remains unfazed, however: "The criticism motivates me to do better," said Biglia.

"I do think that remarks need to remain constructive. After our defeat against Club Bruges, our performance was thrashed, even though we were the equal of Bruges. The only difference was that they scored one goal," explains the midfielder in Het Nieuwsblad.

"In the same article it was claimed that my level was not good enough, that I was not ready for a big team. The article is hanging on my refrigerator. I read it every morning, it motivates me.

Despite receiving interest by several Spanish teams earlier this year, Biglia has no plans to leave Anderlecht. "Normally, I'll be playing in Anderlecht next season as well. I still have to work on a lot of aspects of my gameplay and I'm still learning every single day."
