Zetterberg to Qatar?

There's a chance that Pär Zetterberg will be rented by Al Sadd, champion of Qatar for two months starting in April. Zetterberg is interested, because he will get a serious wage, and informed Anderlecht.


Al Sadd is trained by Luka Peruzovic, former coach and player of Anderlecht. It the richest club in Asia, and has two important tournaments coming up. So they are very interested in back-up for their team.

Manager Van Holsbeeck said he is waiting now for a 'serious offer' out of Qatar, before he gives permission for the transfer deal. Clubs in Qatar are allowed to have 4 foreign players, but for both tournaments an exception is made. Among others the French Frank Leboeuf is playing for Al Sadd.
