The Belgian tv-stations must pay the lowest amount of money in Europe for a soccer game of the national league. That conclusion was made on the meeting of the European 'Prof leagues'.

And that's not just an unimportant detail, because the Belgian Prof league is negotiating about a new contract for TV-rights.
In Belgium, the TV stations pay 13 million Euro, good for 1.28 Euro per head (on 10 million Belgian citizens). Engeland is on top with a donation of 0.95 billion Euro, or 19.4 Euro per citizen.
In countries with a population like Belgium (Greece, Portugal, ...), the investments of TV-stations are 5 times higher. The Prof league is now planning to double the donation, but the TV stations call this unacceptable.
