After 5 matchdays, a weak Anderlecht lost their first game of the season. Anderlecht started well and pushed the home-team back. De Boeck could have scored and a header of Baseggio was cleared on the line.

Goalkeeper Feys did a good job, but had no chance against a deviated free kick of Zewlakow (0-1). Antwerp didn't get a single chance.

After the break, Goots immediatly scored with a nice free kick.
From then on, the pace dropped and Anderlecht got into trouble. Only Kolar was able to thread the Antwerp goal. In the last minutes of the game, Goots scored another time. This time it was a lucky goal, but the final score was 2-1.
Next Thursday, the Mauves will have to do better against Stabaek in the UEFA-Cup!
