Chelsea: 24 million for Kompany

Chelsea would have made an offer of 24 million euro for Vincent Kompany. The almost 18-year old player would be loaned in Anderlecht, so he can finish of his school.

"There's nothing permanent", says Anderlecht-manager Van Holsbeeck. "Though we hear rumours about the interest of teams like Milan, Manchester United and Madrid." According to the Russian millionaire Abramovich of Chelsea, Vincent Kompany is worth more than the 20 million euro Man U wants to pay.
"Our strategy hasn't changed", says Van Holsbeeck. "We can't avoid that teams are interested in Kompany, but we want to keep him."
