Belgium has beaten Scotland with 2-0. The Belgians generally played a good game against the weak Scotsmen. Because of this victory the Devils are already certain of a play-off match. One point against Croatia is enough for a direct qualification.

The Belgians played avarage the first 15 minutes. But the first real chance came only after approx. 20 minutes. Until then the Tarten Army wasn't a match for the Devils.
After 27 minutes the score was 1-0, when Sonck nicely passed the ball to Vankerckhove who kicked the ball into the goal.
The Scotsmen didn't have many chances and Belgium played at some times excellent soccer. In the final minute Bart Goor turned the score into 2-0.
Meanwhile Croatia had also beaten San Marino with 4-0.
