The league starts today

Today the 100st Belgian league starts. Anderlecht play tomorrow on the field of Westerlo. The Mauves start with the largest budget in Belgium (25 million euro). Genk and Standard follow with 15 million, Club Brugge have 13 million.


Maybe it will be the last season under the name RSC Anderlecht, since the Mauves want to change it into RSCA Brussels. Earlier, Jan Mulder expressed his displeasure about this possible change. He calls it a repudiation of the club and its past.
