Criticism on cancellation

"Removing the snow, wasn't a solution", says manager Van Holsbeeck of Anderlecht. He gives a reaction on the criticism some teams gave after the cancellation of the match of Anderlecht.


The criticism came from AA Ghent and Charleroi, that even want a sanction. Even the Belgian Football Federation is surprised by some reactions.

"The bottom was half frozen. If we had played, the pitch would have been very bad. Even more, our pitch would have been disastrous for the rest of the season", said Van Holsbeeck.

The pitch was disapproved by a supervisor of the Belgian Football Federation. "We had to force them to take a look at our pitch", said coach Hugo Broos. "Otherwise, it wouldn't have happened."
