UEFA reforms the Champions League

The Uefa decided to reform the Champions League from next season. The 2nd round will disappear. After the qualification rounds, 32 clubs will play the first round in 8 groups. After that, 16 clubs will play knock out rounds.

That way, a club can play maximum 13 games (in stead of 17 now).
The Uefa announced that this step was needed to shorten the too long soccer season and to limit the total amount of games.
