Is Anderlecht soon member of the G14?

"It's realistic to say that Anderlecht will be part of the G14 next year." That says Thomas Kurth, the Swiss manager of the G14, the association of the strongest eighteen clubs in Europe.


"On each meeting there's spoken about the expansion of the G14", says Kurth in De Morgen. "Belgium is an option, but that also counts for other countries that are just as large. We now received 13 candidacies."

"Anderlecht is a serious candidate. The club stands historically and economically above all the other Belgians clubs and is the only option in Belgium."
