According to some newspapers, Anderlecht showed some interest in Wesley Sonck. Both sides denied the rumour.
"Several teams want Jestrovic. Then we automaticly get some speculations about his successor.

Never didn't talk to Wesley Sonck, nor to Racing Genk about a transfer", said RSCA-manager Michel Verschueren.
Also Racing Genk and Sonck's manager say they know nothing about it. Though it's well known that Wesley wants to leave the club.
Sonck should replace Jestrovic, now that it's most likely that the Yougoslavian player will leave. Teams like Tottenham and PSG already show some interest in the player, who amy leave for 4.5 million euro.
Sonck's contract at Genk ends next season. Therefore, the transfer prize already dropped. Genk originally wanted 10 million for the player.
