Belgium won 4 places on the UEFA-ranking, half way the season. Belgium is ranked 10th now. This is mostly because the bad season of 1997-1998 dropped (only the 5 last years count).

If Belgium can hold this place until June, one team is directly placed for the Champions League after next year. The second in the national league will only have to play the last qualification round.
Belgium still has Anderlecht as representive in the UEFA-Cup, but also Schotland (Celtic), Czech Republic (Slavia Prague) and Switzerland (Bazel) have still active teams.

1.(1) Spain 70,539
2.(3) England 55,896
