One of the most unhappy people yesterday undoubtedly was Roger Vanden Stock. He witnessed the 2-0 succumbing of his team to Beerschot, and he couldn’t do a thing about it.

“This was a new breakdown. We can’t keep hoping that this is temporary. Our problems keep going on. It’s getting even worse. It’s hard to find and explanation, but this is not the Anderlecht that I know.”

Vanden Stock knows that something has to change: “This week will be hard because a lot of players have to leave Anderlecht to play with their national team. But it’s clear that we really have to do something!”

“Hassan played really bad and it seemed like Biglia was afraid to ask for the ball. This can’t go on forever.”
