Boussoufa Plans December Return; Transfer Speculation Rises

Instead of playing against Aalborg last Thursday in the UEFA Cup, Mbark Boussoufa was restricted to spectator. The Monday before the match, his knee gave in again during training. "I will return in December", says the Moroccan.

He does not expect to be operated, "I have only one small tear in my ligament...the doctors wants me to take it slowly, I understand why they are talking about returning in January. I must take my time"

In spite of Boussoufa's injury, he has been part of transfer speculation. He has been linked with Dutch side Ajax, who are targeting him as a replacement for Wesley Sneijder, who was bought by Real Madrid last summer.
