Disappointment is the major theme of the reactions after the draw in Aalborg. Captain Bart Goor regrets the late equaliser. "We let the qualification slip through our hands. Although that goal came as no surprise."

"They developed more and more pressure towards the end of the game. They used their strength and fought many duels. That was the only manner in which they could've achieved anything."

"We had been warned about their strength at set pieces. We stood our ground for a long time, but finally collapsed."

The 34-year-old admitted that Anderlecht did not achieve the level one expects of the team. "Especially in the first half both teams were particularly weak. We played better after the break. When we scored, I thought we would score a second goal soon but we failed to do so."

"A victory would've been ideal, now we'll have to fight until the last game," concluded Goor.

Goalkeeper Zitka was upset about conceding a late goal. "Now we'll have to grab three points against Tottenham at home. The pitch was heavy to play. We did create more chances than Aalborg. We came to grab three points but we should be content with just one."

Olivier Deschacht tried his best to be optimistic. "This is disappointing but we did everything to win and we shouldn't be overly negative. After all, Aalborg managed to defeat Sampdoria. We should've won but failed because at the end one ball rolled in our disadvantage."
