Nicolas Frutos is slowly back to form. With two goals the Argentinian decided tonight's game against Hapoel Tel-Aviv. "This was an important victory," said Frutos, who extended his contract at the club earlier this week.
European games are never easy, no matter who you play against," continued the striker. "But we defended well and managed to score twice. We shouldn't look at the other teams in our group yet."
Goalkeeper Daniël Zitka stressed the importance of the tall striker. "It was an awkward start for us and we passed the ball too slowly. Tel-Aviv showed it can play well and was strong in winning challenges."
Zitka realises Frutos opening goal made a world of difference for the home team. "Frutos' goal shook us awake, we played better afterwards. Frutos is our most important player. It's always an advantage if he's able to play."
