The fourth loss of points in a row for Anderlecht meant a lot of sour faces after the game. "We should be happy with a draw. We conceded two stupid goals. There's a lot of frustration," says Van Holsbeeck.

Chairman Vanden Stock also showed his disappointment. "You've seen the game too," he reacted bitterly, "Roeselare played a non-match. They kept at defending and were lucky to score. We didn't find an answer to that. On top of that we conceded two stupid goals."

Goalkeeper Daniël Zitka realises the team was lucky to win a point. "Roeselare shoots four time at the goals and scores twice. In the end we should happy with a point. Ten minutes before the final whistle we were still 2-0 behind. It's time we score points in away games."

"Nothing is working out for us," says Olivier Deschacht. "It was a difficult match. We commenced the game badly and they scored two lucky goals."

One of the few positive highlights was the return of striker Nicolas Frutos who went on to convert a late penalty. "I was ready to play. I've been training along with the group three or four times and wasn't troubled by tiredness." It showed a lot of personality to take responsability and claim the penalty considering it's his first real game since May. "I just remained calm and took my responsability. We must win the next games if we want to become champion. We can still bridge the distance between Standard."
