Legear was close to Lazio Roma

Jonathan Legear seems to have won his place in the team. Though he was close to singing for Lazio Roma during the summer break. It was manager Van Holsbeeck who convinced him to stay.


Legear: "I have been on the bench for three years. I was getting impatient, but manager Van Holsbeeck convinced me to stay. I still need to learn a lot though."

Frank Vercauteren sees Legear as Wilhelmsson's replacement: "Wilhelmsson was very manoeuvrable, but Legear is fast and knows how to get past his opponent."
