Three Anderlecht players in Belgian selection

Federal coach Vandereycken has selected three Anderlecht players to play with the Belgian national team against Finland and Armenia. Bart Goor, Mark De Man and Jelle Van Damme are the lucky ones.


Goalkeeprs: Stijnen (Club), Bailly (RC Genk) and Vandenbussche (Heerenveen)

Defenders: Gillet (Gent), Kompany (Hamburg), Van Buyten (Bayern), De Man (Anderlecht), Lombaerts (Sint-Petersburg), Swerts (Vitesse), Vertonghen (Ajax) and Van Damme (Anderlecht).

Midfield: Defour en Fellaini (Standard), Geraerts (Club), Goor (Anderlecht), Simons (PSV), Mudingayi (Lazio) Haroun (Genk) and Grégoire (Gent).

Strikers: Dembele (AZ), Mirallas (Rijsel), Sterchele and Sonck (Club).

The first game will be played on Saturday, October 13, against Finland. The second game takes place 4 days later.
