Zitka: "Another match of the season"

If the club wants to wash away the disappointment of missing out on the Champions League, it will have to do well in the UEFA Cup. Goalkeeper Zitka realises the importance of the Rapid Wien game. "It's another game of the season."


"We have to forget about last weekend's game against Zulte Waregem and focus on Rapid Wien," says Danïel Zitka. "After Fenerbahçe this is again the most important game of the season. For the club, for us and for the fans. Even though the games are maybe less prestigious, they deserve the UEFA Cup.

The Czech acknowledges that he has not been able to save points for his club this season. "I realises I haven't been as decisive as I was last year," admits the goalkeeper. "In Europe especially it's important to not concede any goals in your home games. That will be my goal Thursday. I cannot imagine not qualifying."
