Van Holsbeeck: "Letting Mbokani leave was a mistake"

Herman Van Holsbeeck seems to regret the transfer of Mbokani. The young Congolese striker joined Anderlecht last season, but left for Standard in June and is scoring frequently for his new club.


"Letting Mbokani leave will be a huge mistake if he gives Standard the title. The probem is that his behaviour wasn't right. He arrived too late on trainings and had trouble competing with our other strikers for a place in the line-up. By the end of the season, he didn't want to stay in Brussels. Though we know what his qualities are", said Van Holsbeeck.
