Van Holsbeeck: "The group stage is a necessity"

Anderlecht has to play against Rapid Wien in the first round of the UEFA Cup, that placed themselves throughout the Intertoto Cup. "This is not an easy drawing ", said Herman Van Holsbeeck.


"We have drawn the most difficult opponent of the possible adversaries, but we have a good chance against Rapid Wien. The group stage is of course a necessity for Anderlecht."
"We received an uppercut in Europe from Fenerbahçe, but we have to stand up this Sunday. If we win, we can overcome it more easier", thinks the manager.
