After the game against Fenerbahçe, everyone agreed that Anderlecht still has a good chance to qualify. The 1-0 in the first leg is a difficult result, but not an impossible one.

"It's a shame we couldn't score in Turkey," De Man reacted.
"There was a big difference between our team in the first and in the second half. Based on the second half, we know we can beat them. We're confident now," Polak said. Also Goor and Deschacht agreed with him.

Also Zitka is confident: "We lost this game, but we still have 90 minutes left to turn the tide. I'm sure we can."
Bilgia: "It's not that Fenerbahçe was weaker after the break. We just played better. I wasn't completely fit, we'll see what happens with my injury in the upcoming days."

Starplayer Hassan also had a reaction for us: "1-0 is not a bad result. We can overcome this at home. The problem in the first half was that our players aren't that experienced. They were intimidated by the fans. But we learnt a lot from this. It's a pity we wasted all our chances in the second half."

Trainer Vercauteren also reacted: "1-0 is not a very good result, though we showed that we're not weaker than Fenerbahçe. We surely can beat them at home. We only have to watch out for their counter-attacks."
Manager Van Holsbeeck looked at the financial side: "We can still make it to the Champions League. If we don't we still have the UEFA Cup. We'll earn far less money though, but we can take more point for the Belgian coefficient."
