Hassan said no to Sunderland

Sunderland has been eyeing Ahmed Hassan. According to Hassan's entourage, the English Premier League club has made an offer to contract the Egyptian midfielder, but the offer was rejected by the player.


Sunderland was willing to spend 3 million euro for Anderlecht's playmaker. Hassan is contracted until June 2008 and will likely play his last season in Europe.
