Manager Van Holsbeeck was highly unsatisfied with the 6-0 loss the team suffered against Real Murcia. The two newcomers Triguinho and Théréau were not spared criticism.

"Triguinho is only a shadow of the player we saw at work. He has serious difficulties getting adapted," says the manager.

The same goes for French striker Théréau. "Where is the Théréau of Steaua Bucarest?" wondered Van Holsbeeck. "He is nowhere near that level. Physically he is ready after his foot injury. Maybe other aspects come into play and I will talk to him about it. He needs to prove himself on the pitch and not in interviews."

Neither Walter Baseggio managed to convince Van Holsbeeck. "We need to find a solution for him," claimed the manager.

Max Von Schlebrügge, on the other hand, was cut more slack. "It's not easy for a central defender if you're constantly under pressure. Every ball forward immediately came back. Max is a professional and he'll be there when we need him."
