Polak impresses at training

New acquisition Jan Polak joined his team-mates at training yesterday and immediately made an impression. This evening the midfielder will play his first match in the Anderlecht shirt against Real Murcia.


Jelle Van Damme saw that Polak is a strong addition for the team. "He was remarkably strong yesterday and he will add a lot of strength to the team for the European games," said Van Damme.

Olivier Deschacht joined his team-mate in praising the Czech midfielder. "He is the player we needed to boost our midfield. He is a very complete player, has two good feet, is a good header and always works for the benefit of the team."
