Hassan: "Prove I can still do better"

An inquiry among the coaches of the Belgian first division has shown that Anderlecht player Mémé Tchité and Ahmed Hassan are top favorites to win next year's Golden Boot. Hassan has claimed it would be an honour.


"In the coming months I want to show I can still do better than last season. But of course there are several competitors to win the Golden Boot, so it won't be easy. I think Tchité, Biglia, Soetaers, Chatelle, Jovanovic, Sterchele and Defour are likely to win the prize," said the Egyptian midfielder.
