Cyril Théréau was one of the most important transfers of Anderlecht this summer, but the French striker did not leave a good impression yet. "I'm in bad shape and physically I'm not feeling perfect", Théréau admits.

The striker scored his first goal for Anderlecht with a penalty kick against Olympique Marseille. "I wanted to score that penalty for my self-confidence", the Frenchman reacts. "My family also attended the game, so scoring was really important to me. I don't see them so often."

It looks like Mbo Mpenza will start the season in the attack, instead of Théréau. "The coach takes all the decisions and I respect that. I'm not thinking of that yet, I feel that I'm having a lack of self-confidence at the moment. I also have to recover from a knee injury. I feel bad because I know everyone is expecting a lot from me, but I can assure that Anderlecht haven't seen the real Cyril Théréau yet", the striker promises.
