Polak to Anderlecht?

Despite the efforts of Herman Van Holsbeeck, it seems that Somoza isn't coming to Belgium. Therefore, the club is now focussing on the Czech international Jan Polak who's playing for Nürnberg at the moment.


Herman Van Holsbeeck and secretary-general Philippe Colin are negotiating with the German club, but they don't have a deal yet. Polak is a 26-year old midfielder who has played 30 games for his country.

Turkish club Galatasaray is also interested in the player. An alternative for Polak is the Danish player Rasmus Würtz of Aalborg.
